So you’ve made the brave and bold decision to pursue tending to your mental health in a private practice space. As with any other important area of your care, Ambler Counseling Center prioritizes the specialization and individualization of your treatment. This means that you, as the client, are carefully linked with a hand-picked provider from our team in order to achieve the most optimal outcome of your hard work.

We find that there are just some things in life that you want to fully invest and commit to, one of them being your personalized mental health program. Some things, like off-brand office supplies or cell phone accessories might not warrant the same investment as something as vital to your well-being as mental health treatment.

Private Pay Investments

In order to provide the level of quality care that we prioritize for all of our clients, we strive to provide affordable services on a sliding scale and without the involvement of insurance providers. Insurance providers may solicit specific information about your mental health treatment and seek outcomes that do not align with your vision for yourself, which is our primary focus when facilitating treatment.

Ambler Counseling Center does not enter into communications or deliberations with any insurance providers with the goal of providing good, quality care without interference from third parties.

During your intake process, you will provide credit card information that will be charged on a weekly basis, dependent upon the frequency of your sessions. By providing this information, you are consenting this payment to be withdrawn on a weekly basis per your schedule of sessions.

Out-of-Network Reimbursement

You may choose to submit what is called a “superbill”, that includes service type information and provider information, to your insurance provider. Ambler Counseling Center is happy to provide a standard superbill to any client who directly asks for this documentation in order to submit to their insurance provider. Following receipt of this documentation, seeking any reimbursement from insurance providers becomes the sole responsibility of the client. We cannot guarantee reimbursement of services through your insurance provider and do not possess specific insurance provider information in order to facilitate this process.

Ambler Counseling Center strives to make high-quality wellness care accessible to those who seek it. For many of us, times have become a bit tough financially, and we want to extend opportunities to those who need them in order to overcome financial barriers to accessing care. From time to time, our practice is humbled by the support we receive from the community in the form of donations, feedback, and collaboration. Through this support, we are pleased to offer different financial support opportunities for our LGBTQIA+ community members and for those experiencing financial hardship. Tiered Rate System

We are excited to offer access to an excellent team of clinicians with varying educational and experiential backgrounds. We offer a structured, tiered payment rate system for each ‘tier’ of provider expertise. Our team is compiled of Master’s Level Clinicians, Licensed Clinicians, Master’s-Level Interns & Post-Doc Interns, and Licensed Psychologists each with unique tiered rates.

Based on the information you share with us about your needs, we may recommend a specific tier of individualized care from our team and will be able to share more information regarding costs for this tier. All of our team members are thoroughly supervised by our Licensed Supervisors and have ample experience in various specialties. Some clients might benefit from working with a Master’s-Level Clinician or an Intern for needs like mild anxiety, life transitions, or school/work stressors. Others might benefit from working with one of our Licensed Clinicians or Psychologists for in-depth trauma processing, history of self-harm, or a long-term experience with mental health symptoms. No matter which tier is the best fit for you, you can rest assured you will be receiving 5-star care with Ambler Counseling Center.
